One of the curators came and chatted with me for a bit about this Brough Superior, and he said the guy who owned T.E Lawrence's Last Brough reckoned
it would fetch ?2 million 

it is a superb museum and just about every bike is still run and ridden as frequently as possible.  You can tell by all the drip trays.

 Last pic is interestingly tagged as '1951' with Swing arm and no bolt-on G-box . Rear hub looks like not a crinkle/QD but some kind of conical setup-

I don't see a pivot point at the trailing edge of the fork assembly that allows the shock absorber to do something.

it a one off aluminum special the only BSA parts are engine and gearbox
