 I wonder why BSA stopped making large displacement bikes? (I consider that 800-1200, after that it gets ridiculous IMO)

 I would drive that '39 around with a huge smile. *smile*

The Rob Roy Hill climb was on at the same time & a lot of bikes left around midday when the weather turned,  Guess I was lucky to pick up top Restro & a couple of bottles of plonk..  *countdown*

hahaha... Funny you should mention that...
Mrs WozzA has never been a big fan of motorcycle parts or trophys inside the house..
Last week I took a load of donations to the Helping Hands Op Shop & on my way out spotted this glass door cupboard, a few modifications later & I now have a trophy cabinet in the shed..  *wink2*
