AM HERE AGAIN! BSA 10 GOLDENFLASH - HELP!
« on: 01.06. 2009 08:37 »
Sorry its Karen again.  Would some kind soul who knows anything about bikes have a look at the link below for me and tell me whether the A10 1962 BSA Print that is on there is a Golden Flash.

Thankyou and sorry again.  I am still trying to locate a good print.  Your comments on whether you think its a good print would be welcome as well.

Regards
Karen

I'm not sure. The Flash has an iron head but the one in the photo looks to have paler fins on the head than the barrel so it could be an alloy head. *conf*

Hello there,
Go on admit it...You missed us! ;D
Just a thought....Does your partner ride bikes?
There are various companies in the UK that offer Classic Motorcycle tours and have BSA A10s in their fleet.
Even if your partner doesn't ride, the staff could take them for a spin on the back of one. Could be a nice weekend break in the countryside for you both.
Cheers,
Iain

Karen,
Thats a great picture of an A10 BSA.
If he bleats about it being the wrong model, bash him over the head with it.
It means he's a rivet counter and you'll have to leave him.
just kidding, he'll love it and if he doesn't .... send it to me.
cheers

Hi All,
I reckon thats as good as it gets subject to a picture of the actual bike!

Yep you could rivet count, probably a ali head and possibly the wrong air filter, but unless you see the original bike it could have all of these, and youd be splitting hairs!

You better go for it Karen!
Kind Regards
