There were over ten 10 A7/10's at the rally, so "4 out of 10 ain't bad" (some others knew of the forum but had not registered so didn't get their photo taken).

Blimy, New Zealanders look almost human. Who knew!

I count five names so is one of the names taking the picture?

How about a 'from left to right' naming text.

GB,

I think "Scott and Jay" is one person.

Gentlemen,

Don't take this personal, and don't take it wrong, but, what's with the young and fit look? Seriously, four bikers get together and none of them can produce a spare tire? :)

Good photo Mike.
An excellent rally in spite of my SR (partially pictured in front of the crew) playing up on the way down -partial blockage in the oil return tower tube hole was diverting oil back via the rocker circuit into the motor which when the sump was drained had a litre of oil in it and had been hydraulic'ing out every orifice. Lucky we picked it up as the oil on the back tyre could have caused an accident and the lack of oil in the tank could have destroyed the motor, whereas neither occurred and the bike did the rally and the ride home problem free.

I think RR just dodged the question of who's who in the picture.

I did this half hoping that the record of "4" (in one place) would be beaten....

Yeah hi all,

I would like to point out that's me on the left - posing young, but I'm four years older than my '58 Flash..That's a "BSA" polo shirt, anyway- from our Canterbury club's 2014 Rally. All these rallies have been the highlight of my year. I would look to sport a Forum t-shirt at the 2018 International in Victoria.... Also, my nom-de-plume partner, son Jay, apologizes. He has no excuse for missing next year's National (Canterbury again) though - since he now lives there

Scott and Kiwi
its was nice to meet you guys, especially having exchanged forum comments. it was a great rally -  that strange blend of new twisty roads, unnecessary challenge, adversity, perseverance, problem-solving, comradery, relief, beer, wisecracks and old fashioned fun. and much more fun for adding 'wise' comments to fixing someones else's bike (RR!) than ones own  *smile*
hopefully Jay can make it for 2018
