Thanks for accepting me on the forum.  My bike, which I got last Monday, is a 1959 Gold Flash with what I think is a 1960 engine, so it's not one for the purist.  It's in what seems to be good condition, and most importantly, I like it.
There are a couple of issues with it, so I'll be grateful for a bit of advice, but I'll post that in the appropriate section.
My other bikes are a '52 AJS 16MS Jampot, and two Moto Guzzis.  I'm getting on a bit now(!) so have to make the most of riding and fiddling with the bikes.   *smile*

I have a feeling, cyclobutch, that we both inhabit the GuzziRider forum, but in case I'm mistaken, my two Guzzi's are a '92 750T and a '71 Nuovo Falcone Civile. Both bikes are a joy to ride, and Ooze  " character" ( whatever that is)!!  I love'em to bits.
I also run a 97 Honda CB500, especially at this time of the year.
A PO had refurbished the 750T so it's a smart little bike, although he didn't touch the engine and gearbox, just wheels, tank and side panels.
The Falcone is in not too bad nick - it's short on original handlebar furniture and switch gear, but what's there works ok.  The flywheel (bacon slicer) is exposed and I've just bought the correct covers for it with the intention of cutting away the outer casing to show the flywheel, as I feel it's a feature of the bike.  It's fitted with the Dynastart system which works well, but it's the easiest bike to kick start that I've ever owned.

Ah, indeed. You have me bang to rights. I'm maybe a little more vocal there, but if so probably because I'm more sure of what I'm talking about (though not necessarily correct of course).

I occupy the position of barely tolerated village idiot out here.

I do quite fancy one of those Nuovo Falcones myself, but I'm kind of holding out for some kind of flat tank project at the moment and funds in my baggie are light.
