Darn new laptop. Started responding and it all went away. Anyway, try again for the wood stove pic. Worntorn, the tractor is a MF 1235 (4wd, 35hp) that I've worked hard (abused?) for 15 years with no problems. Doesn't owe me a thing.

Must be really efficient with wood, since there doesn't need to be a pile of it next to the stove.

You are really out there in wilderness wonderland. Don't forget to keep your snow shoes oiled.

New Zealand is definitely on my bucket list. Kiwipom, that's a good looking family you've got. With three girls, you'd better keep your shotgun handy for a few years to keep the two-legged varmints at bay!  *smile*

This post prompted me to look back over the photos that I have taken over the last 20 years or so at various shows in NE East England . These 4 I class as unusual all taken back in 2005. The first is a Velocette which I was told was a prototype 500cc. twin which never went into production. The second is a "BSA" which was seen quite regularly here in the NE but I have not seen it for a while now, The third was quite amusing as is obvious but the young  boy was secularly fastened to his father. The fourth was a kind of home made bike the engine castings which were very rough were cast by the owner but seemingly it went very well.

Bought a Morini Camel recently which I thought would be fun in the snow last Thursday evening, but it had reduced to slush by the time I got out on it. Bolted a replacement drive box (ebay special) onto my MG V50 Saturday and went out to a branch meeting of the Guzzi Club Sunday lunch time and got it filthy. I'll see if I can find some pics to post - but it won't be pretty.

It's all just a bit cold and damp and nasty out here in the Essex badlands.

Off to the Dragon in a couple of weeks - on the little Veefer all being well. A10 is tucked away for warmer dryer days.

Cyclobutch- interesting how so many of us on this forum are attracted to similar bikes that are not BSA. I sold my Morini 3 1/2 about 2 years ago. Still have 2 Guzzi riders (v11 Lemans and V11 Stone Touring) and an Ambassador project. A lot seem to have Yamaha XTs as well (I have an XT500 that sometimes starts and an XT600 that always starts). Every time I ride a small block Guzzi I think I need to get one. Maybe someday.

Only because of Bikerbobs photo of that same Velo twin. Would you be able to scan that article and upload it here; I'm sure lots of us would like to read it?
