Just a quick message on behalf of Richard from Mintey. The Triumph around the world book was posted to DT a while back. Crucially there has been no feed back on weather or not the book was actually received. If anyone knows anything about the location of the book, would they please post that information on the board. DT if you read this, a quick email of acknowledgement would not go amiss.

Thanks John

Thanks for the reply, the book must now have traveled 40.000 km ! Do you know anybody owning a Triumph in a country the book has not yet visited ? If everyone did (as required) sign with name and country on the inner-page, you may find out where it 'wants' to be sent next, many countries still available.

If nobody here on this forum, I'll make a post on www.triumphrat.net (from where the 'around the world project' originated), and help find a new recipient. Take good care of the book, it's quite an icon by now.

Thanks
e

Yes, the regs are that it go to a country not yet ivisited, but absent anyone else available, perhaps Chicago can be granted temproray international stature? Must clear with "e".

whoops, thanks for the reminder... have forgotten to post in the t-forum. Richard, if you want to give the book refuge contact DT and make the arrangements. I trust you'll find an interesting place for it's subsequent journey... f.ex. some Triumph owner somewhere in Africa ?
