Hi
Could someone tell me if there is much of a difference between the two models.
I wanted to get a print for my partner of the BSA Golden Flash 1958 but at the minute can only find a 1962 model and wanted to know if there was much of a difference in the models to the naked eye.
Sorry for my ignorance!
Regards
Karen

Karen, the main differences are the tank, mudguards and seat which gives the bike a fairly significant change in appearance.
Go to the Super Rocket site and you will see.

Hi Karen

There a number of obvious changes that stand out, the mudguards are much deeper on the earlier Flash's as you can see from the pictures, also it looses its tank with the round badge and gains a pear drop style tank badge, the shroud around the headlamp (nacelle) has been removed and is a sleaker design and the hubs in the center of the wheels have changed.

There are more differences of course and also depenfing on what country you are in again there were changes for different markets around the world.

Hope this helps

Kind regards

Steve
