Selling some new old stock pistons I bought as spares for my 51 a7, unfortunately they are too small. I'm presuming its because early models were long stroke. It was an impulse purchase fail. Never mind, hopefully they can benefit somebody here. Just looking to get my money back. I'm looking for £70 which will include postage to the UK, absolute bargain !!!

An unused pair of Hepolite Heplex alloy pistons to suit BSA A7 models
from between 1947-1951, overbored by 0.040" (2.4405" + 0.040", or
61.988mm + 1.016mm).
I have lightly cleaned both pistons to remove a small amount of protective
grease, and the surfaces have some very light storage and handling marks,
mostly from the time of manufacture, I assume, but no corrosion or pitting.
The last two photos show the pistons before cleaning.
I cannot guarantee the usability of these items, or the rings and clips, but
I assume that any purchaser would understand the mechanics of fitting
original vintage items such as these, and their suitability for their particular
motorcycle. They appear to be in very good order, and I am offering them
at what I believe is a bargain price for scarce items of this vintage!
I will also include a partial set of gaskets made by Payen (MCS617 Mk.1)
for the 1947-51 A7 model, which may be of use when fitting these pistons.
Some of the thin paper gaskets are quite creased.
These items will be very carefully packaged and posted promptly on
receipt of payment.
