I think the point is it's technically driverless and all you do is sit on it while it goes where you've programmed it  *sad2*. No throttle, no brakes, no steering, no fun, no point

A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.
