Here are a couple of photos up front of me getting into my DGR story. The first is a picture of some old guy in David Byrne's jacket watching the days go by while touching my bike. He seems to have the posture of a guy who spent most of the night before, and a good part of the morning, laying on the garage floor. The second is the obligatory right side A10 picture. The the girl who took the other picture is sitting on her Honda. I had the troubling position of riding behind her a good deal of the way.

Richard L.

P.S.  The the third pic is an edit to this post. It was clipped from someones YouTube video.

You deserve a medal, Richard. If you read Musky's account of his night before the ride you'll see that he also deserves a gong.

It appears that your front brake lever may be a tad too far around. Are the shoes ok?

Good observation. The shoes are NOT OK. They're waiting for winter. Already have them, front and rear.

I already typed something like this but did something stupid and lost it all:

Your bike, with that stunning paint job and shiny bits looks contemporary. As they say here; it looks The Dogs Bollocks.

I have some pix but have to downsize them,, Will post up some shortly when I work on the tech aspects. BUT this illustrous character was at our local event.  Interesting guy.  I assumed he was just a local hipster and fashion icon as we have a lot of them.  But heard some people talking about him and realized he is a bit of a celebrity.

He is also a paid spokesman for Jack Daniels whiskey..
If you are REALLY fast I am in the first micro seconds of this clip on far left near the back, old fat guy wearing leather and a tie!
See: https://insta-stalker.com/post/BoX9sLxhAqs/

He posted a lot of stuff on instagram,, see here: https://insta-stalker.com/profile/Dumptruck_/

Here is his website.. quite a character! (I wish I was that cool I got paid to party!)

This one?

Nope!  Okay, see the Blond with the neck scarf and red jacket in the foreground? Directly behind her is a flat cap chap leaning his head to the left? Directly behind him is me (I am pretty sure- I zoomed in but its fuzzy) If you go to the video,, initially it looks like I am raising my arm and a surfer pinky and index finger with thumb extended.  But a few frames later looks like someone elses arm.  I WAS waving my arm, so not sure thats MY arm,, I took a friend and she is short so you dont see her at all,,I know some of the people in that crowd so I  can orientate to where people were standing.

He actually did 2 panoramic shots and we were supposed to yell and flail about for each one.

okay, resizes SEEM to be working, a few more (Fingers crossed)
So, we had "Betsy the Booze truck" serving beverages, and because it is Portland,, There was aromatherapy, Body energy rectification, Massages, Acupuncture, A vender giving out samples of CBD cannabis products
(no intoxication from CBD,, but it does work for anxiety and stress among other things) and Triumph had a local dealer who sponsored and ran a chase truck.
Also the venue was one of our Moto-centric bars called "2 Stroke coffee company" and there was bikes inside the place as well as Tea, Espresso and all sorts of beverages.
PLUS....... (But wait theres MORE!) We had PNW Axe throwing, which is like darts and a bit of snooker but more complicated.   Plus live music from a band called "Bi**hes of the Sun" and was a
Siouxsie & the Banshees cover band.
While the band played, they shot video from the ride up on the wall which was pretty cool.
The guy with the axe was just a random guy since my friend didnt want her picture taken with the axe, I kinda think he looks like the lead character from Fargo (William Macy) and presents a nice air of madness,, mild mannered car salesperson, Axe murdering psychopath in his spare time.
I wondered if Axe throwing might progress to hunting down hipsters or lawyers?  (Just a thought......)
