« on: 02.08. 2016 12:28 »
I'm looking for a Villiers 9D engine, Specifically gearbox parts and outer case if any of you have one lying around....Its for a James ML I bought while checking out some A10 spares...it was a trap I fell into....

I have a Villiers engine knocking around, but no idea what it is. How could I identify? And surely p&p to South Africa will be prohibitive?

Its a 120cc? three speed hand change, two stroke. The Bike is a James ML. The outer case on the gearbox is the thing I'm most after. The one I have is cracked. broken across the kick start axis and has been badly welded
Picture attached...
I have an address in Cambridge, UK.
Many thanks
Guy

I'll check it out. As it happens I'm expecting to be in Cambridge (UK) on Saturday.

It would be great if you have the same engine. I plan to be in the UK later in August/ September. Sounds like perfect timing....assuming the engine is the same one!
Many thanks

It looks different to what I remember to be honest. I'm trying to work out where I've put it at the moment ...
