G'day All.
Well it looks like a resounding win for the Engine Cutout by RichardL (outer circles & text) & Greybeard (inner cut out picture). *yeah* Thanks to the 114 who voted.
Now the hard part. Printing and logistics, numbers and sizes, different colour for black Tee's.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Good to see all the contributions.  If the Timing Cover is used, could it get confused with the Kawasaki W2 650SS? *whistle*
Another colour as well as Black if possible?  Well done all.

I think gold print on a black shirt would be nice. Or maybe a grey shirt with red print (kind of like Rocket Goldie paint and pinstripe colors)?

In case it slipped through the cracks when posted under "Ideas..", you can link to the gold-on-black annulus design here:

That's it Richard. Do you know how to convert the engine cutout to gold?

I'm all for gold on black, bit selfish as I have a Gold "Golden flash". but will be happy with whatever is easiest.

Well it will depend upon how they are printed.
The cheapest will be screen printing in 1 colour, gold for instance.
The down side is they will have to be done all in one hit so some one will have to fork out a lot of money up front.
However screen printing in two colours requires two screens so doubles the printing price for small runs.

OTOH direct to fabric printing can be done in any colour that your colour laser printer can print and Gold is not one of them.
So the colour would have to be different.
However most print on fabric mobs will allow 4 colours for the same price as 1 colour.

Dye sublimation is very cost effective as you post out the transfer and the recipiant irons it onto their own shirt.
This is what most of those t-shirt booths use or used to use prior to direct print to fabric.
Again you are limited the the Gammut of a laser printer.

Die sub needs a shirt that is at least 30 % synthetic fabric
Direct to fabric requires a 50% cotton ( or hemp ) fabric
Screen print works best on coton but now days they can do 100% synthetic

I haven't checked out pricing for bulk screening in the U.S, but, as mentioned, direct-to-fabric for a lot of 100 is $8.08/ea.

Trevor is right about printing in gold. Custom Ink provided a "closest match" when I sent in the attached design to see the sample. More yellow than gold, perhaps.
