New guy.
« on: 14.04. 2016 19:15 »
Hi Fellas,

Just a quick intro... My name is Rob live in Norway and i ve got a background from Lambretta`s.
I can swing a spanner pretty good but this is my first plunge into the world of British motorbikes.

I live in Norway, moved over here after my stint in the the British army about 20 years ago.

I have done loads of homework and decided that a A10 or A7 are proberbly one of the best bikes to start on so after a lot of back and forth with the seller, I will be picking up this Golden Flash on Saturday. The seller has had it for sale for about 2 years and I alone know 2 guys that have tried to buy it off him and been declined. Some guys just can`t part with stuff and this has huge sentimeltal value to him. It has been inherited but he has dodgy Health so its been stood around for a few years... First job is cleaning the sump and New oil... Anyway, here she is.

G'day Rob,  *welcome*.
Nice pick up mate. From the look of it you won't be swinging too many spanners on her at all.
We're all here to help if you run into any problems, so keep us posted on your findings.
Cheers

Whoa! That is very nice, indeed. Welcome to the forum. We will all look forward to more pictures and stories as you dig in. Did you get a chance to hear the bike run before the purchase, and has it been ridden recently? As Muskrat implied, if you were looking for a big project to throw yourself into right away, you might have to ride this baby out to find one.

Mind sharing your first name so we don't have to address you by the name of a different brand? Otherwise, I'm going to call you "Max".
