Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

Yep... I've got to pull the wheel out & have it machined & new shoes before I ride it again, scared the $hit out of me when I tried to stop..   & I cant get any more adjustment from the cable when I move the brake arm back a notch..    *problem*

There is good advice available on this forum on getting SLS brakes to work better  *smile* unless you’ve got rubbish linings there are are a few “tips and tricks” like getting the leading shoe to contact first......which skimming and does not help with.
