New member intro
« on: 25.11. 2015 16:22 »
Hi,
I have recently acquired a 1961 A10 super rocket with engine in bits from a friend.
It is currently in café racer mode but I got the original bits as well in a rusty state.
I remember it running about 15 years ago, after that he stripped it, intending to replace the bottom end; had a family, put it in a shed (the bike, not the kids) etc.
Most of it I can do myself apart from the crank grinding, replacing mains and big ends. Does anyone know a good engineer for this in Devon or Cornwall, apart from Monty who is too busy.
thanks for a great forum
Tony (Tamar valley)

Oooh and you've got that most desirable TLS front brake on it.

No, it's off one of the military models isn't it?
