I restores my 1958 SR in 1995-1996, when I lived in the Grimsby UK.
It was restores as a 1956 GF, to keep it in “disguise”

The reason for early style mudguards and round fuel tank logo:
I like the early style much better, then the late style.
The late type nacelle, look like at “tube on a plate” and is a bit odd.
Where the old type “divers helmet” nacelle suits the bike style, and is a typical look from the 50ies
Non std. items:
Stainless: Rims, spokes, wheel spindles, drip tray carb., front mudguard stay, dynamo strap, nuts & bolt everywhere.
TLS front brake,
Non std. chrome plated parts: Rocker box, engine stays, dynamo “horns”, ski slop, steering friction plate holder and dynamo body.
Fuel taps changed from Edward valves to leak proof std. valve. (Adaptor changed after this picture).
Rear foot rest, non BSA.
Cylinder head: Extensively reworked by the cylinder head shop. (Special valves etc.)
Engine half re-bores by SRM.
SRM oil / crank conversion. Incl. dyn. Balancing of crank.
Steering head bearing, converted to SRM taper roller bearings
Sump plate in billet alu. By SRM.
Magneto rebuild by SRM fitted with new Automatic advance unit.
