Townsville
« on: 19.10. 2015 07:21 »
I've just returned from 10 days in Townsville to help a friend who had a stroke & is unable to ride get his bikes back on the road for sale after storage for the last 5 years.
I was unable to catch up with TerryK due to work commitments, but visited some of the local restorers, here are some of the local lads bikes....   Not all BSA but hope you enjoy them anyway..  *smile*

Hi Wozza,
Love your photographic chronicles!

Particularly interested in the white 1938 Square Four (4G); I hadn't realised they had white as an option. I wonder if it was ex police? I am currently restoring a red 1938 4G.

Any chance of getting more pics of this machine?

Great work,

Richard

The side valve in the last lot of pics is a (highly desirable) 1928 Ariel Model B (557cc). A black Ariel; "The Modern Motorcycle".

Nice collection you've got there WozzA, and a shed TV (great minds think alike)
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco
