Bsa gold flash

My gold flash 1959 has black pear shape tank badges.what is the opinion should they be red? Sorry I've posted in the wrong section

2001 GL1800 Goldwing, well, the wife likes it

Well, if we want to be correct, they shouldn't be pear shaped at all in 1959. These tanks were fitted to the 1960-3 models.
1959 had round badges.
A10s had red pear shaped badges.
