Hey chaps/chapelles
« on: 17.07. 2014 23:13 »
Just popping in to say hi (and get my post count up  ;) ),
My very first foray into the British stable was a '51 A7 (some thirty-odd years back), and I've been pining for another since. In the face of an imminent significant birthday I decided to spoil myself and just took ownership of a '50 A10, on which I'm looking forward to clocking up some miles (as soon as Winter allows) - will update with pics at a later date.
As a result of the inevitable Googling that accompanied my new purchase I ran across this forum, and assumed it would be in my best interests to join up... apologies in advance for any inane questions I might post in the future.
Hail fellows, well-met.
:)

G'day mate,  *welcome*.
Can we call you Mr P for short?
I've had my '51 A7 for 33 years, won't part with it.
Happy 50th.
Cheers

Ta lads  *smile*

I'm sure I've been (and shall be) called worse.
I like your cafe racer. Back when I had my old girl, there was a similarly styled A7 featured in Classic Bike that very much took my fancy...
