Ok sit down hold your ribs and get ready to laugh,i can't get my head around the positive earth,it just go's against the grain for me *conf*,i need to charge my battery, now heres the question is it still red to red and black to black.

I think i'm having a senior moment. *smile*

Yes otherwise you change the polarity of the battery, I usually take the negative lead off the battery - not sure this is at all necessary

The charger "+" lead goes onto the battery "+" terminal.


The charger "-" lead goes onto the battery "-" terminal.
