Kickstart shaft and quadrant
« on: 20.03. 2014 08:30 »
Need to buy a new kickstart haft and quadrant.  Can see they are readily available but wondered where to get a good quality one.  Any suggestions?

From a real shop where you can walk in and slam  it down on the counter if it not up to scratch.

a lot of it is Trevor, you need to look at the address and see if it lines up with any of our trusted traders, quite a few of them sell on Ebay.

My Indian tank now showing a funny Brass tinge was bought from a local (slam it on the desk Trader) but it's now about five years old and when you think about it
possible some original tanks (back in the day) might not have been much better quality

Hi Keith,
I bought one here about 2 years ago. Real good quality, but you'll have to order the pinion also because it probably won't fit the old one. It didn't on mine anyway. Since then no more kick start jams anymore neither.
