A7/A10 Forum Appreciation
« on: 24.12. 2008 20:00 »
Dear Fellow A7/A10 Forum Members,

We (the conspirators) are now pleased to announce to you and to Erling, our
administrator, that the membership has contributed a nice sum in the form of
a gift voucher at SRM Engineering, in order to show appreciation to
Erling for instigating and managing the forum. We all recognize that Erling
started the forum as part of his love for A7/A10s and has his satisfaction
in the creation of, participation in and success of the forum.
Nevertheless,  such efforts should be recognized in irrefutable terms.
Therefore, Erling, please accept our gratitude and gift without reservation
or embarrassment, none necessary.

Congratulations to the membership for making the contributions to pull this
off.  Any member still wishing to contribute is reminded that the fund will
remain open until the end of December, after which Erling will receive the gift voucher. The contribution information previously sent still applies. (Feel free to send me a forum personal message if you need further information or assistance with a contribution.)

Cheers

P.S.  I am but the messenger for a vast international conspiracy.

Wow !! This is greatly appreciated, to put it mildly. I've been trough some uphill times (with the forum, yes, but also in life), recognition for the work I've put into this means much. And I am not thinking of the value of any gift, but about this kindness showed from those who appreciate beeing here.

I will of course accept such a token of good intents and friendliness, and the idea of a SRM voucher is a great idea, will inspire me to get going with the A10 parts + needed work postponed for much, much too long !

A perfect and very welcome xmas surprise, thanks a lot to you all.

Erling

Allow me to say that without L.J.'s complicity, proof reading, suggestions and approval, the whole idea of letting us show our appreciation for Erling and the amusing, educational and ever-growing forum, which we all enjoy, would not have happened. Thank you L.J.

I have gotten a bit too much satisfaction and pastime from being the spanner that has tightened this bolt. My personal thanks to all who made it worthwile.

Hear Hear Hark Hark Ho Ho !

I just want to join in the Christmas carol, and also add my voice to the choir of appreciation, both to Erling and the ones that made this gift come true.
Great job lads !

...and the ol' plunger too sends you a thanks.

Have been battling with the magneto for a long time, giving up, needs a new armature, Lot's of other smaller and bigger things to do of course, but this is what's needed to get it rolling again. SRM should be able to do a good job.
