Early Christmas present
« on: 03.12. 2013 19:20 »
Hi lads,

Was on a local bikejumble last Sunday, and came across this rather sad looking A10 plunger.
Couldn't resist the look of it, and bought it.
It's a '52 plunger, fairly complete, runner, but in need of some tlc.
The engine and frame numbers are both '52, so with a bit of luck they're matching.
On with the fun........ *smile*

Good one morris. Doesn't look sad at all, probably even happier than mine.
Cheers

Musky, to be honest, the "sad looking" was more like in a Labrador puppy way.......*loveit*

Thank you all for the encouraging words!
Got it home today. Drove it up and down the driveway a couple of times. When hitting the rear brake, it nearly threw me off. Compared to the SA, it looks like the plunger's brakes are much more efficient!!!!
Haven't figured out yet whether it's the SA brakes witch have a problem, or is it that the plunger's brakes with the rod are so much better *????*

I bet you find it's the plungers brakes that are the best Morris , I remember a really great set on my outfit , could squeal the rear wheel ,even if I was standing on the pedal !! Either way theres lots of enjoyment to be had cheers Morris.BobH
