I've got a '53 A10 that I'm thinking of selling.  I've had it for over 20 years.  The engine has been rebuilt and so has the transmission.  The magneto has been rewound and fully serviced.  I've converted it to 12 volt but have the old regulator so it could be easily switched back.  New wiring harness, 10 years ago, a new concentric carb , but I have the old 376 that I used for years in a box.  Stainless spokes, avon speedmaster tires.  Recently bought mikuni carb due to hard starting.  I really don't ride it often  though I love the bike. Any thoughts on price I should ask for it?  I haven't seen one for sale in a while.

G'day Bill, she looks pretty nice mate. Sell the car instead. *smile*.
Down here she'd be in the $6-8K mark but it's a buyers market so start high but be prepared to accept much less. Nah, keep it for the kids.
Cheers

Bill,
Nice to see there is another A10 owner in San Diego.  It looks like a nice bike.  As far as price goes, offer it a price you would be comfortable letting it go for but be open to lower offers and see what happens.  There was another fellow in SD by the name  of Bill that had a couple of A10 spitfires about 20-25 years ago......

I decided to keep it.  It has a 52 engine in a 53 frame.  I bought a 52 frame and plan on converting it over.  I'm looking for a 52 a10 tank.  I've got a 50-52 a7 tank to trade.  Know anyone around here with one?

Glad to hear your keeping her Bill. Once she's gone, she's gone.
Start a new topic in this section asking for a tank.
Cheers
