A7 Rebuild
« on: 25.04. 2015 16:13 »
Hi all just found your forum I just purchased a project last year (1960 A7) been a few years from I've had a British bike unless you can count a can-am 250  ;) I hope to be on the road next year have the frame blasted and painted new fork-legs new stainless steel rims and spokes just got a set of mitas tires delivered today so will have a rolling chassis soon. Got an a10 engine (1960s) as mine was in a box of rusty bits this is now striped for inspection and looks good although pistons are +40, got no bolts or fittings so buying as I go along, I'm going for the gold star look high bars with stainless steel mudguards this bike is to be used so using as much stainless as possible will post some pictures asap  *roll* This is a photo of my bike i had in the 80s  after it was restored its a A10 super rocket in Gold-star trim any one no of here were a bouts.  *conf* This is the start of my new project long way to go  *smile*

G'day Taylor,  *welcome*.
There's nothing more satisfying than building your bike from bits to blaster. I'm sure you'll love the A7.
Cheers
