here is what I have389 - /239monobloc
needle D and pitted badly
25 pilot jet
106 needle jet
slide #3
310 main jet
the bike starts and runs but really rich I have checked for obstructions in the intake manifold and gasket the carb is slightly out of round at the flange but I dont see any interference with the gasket in place
I am wondering if having a pitted needle is allowing more fuel to leak into the intake manifold on idle?
seems to be using a huge amont of gas ,black smoke coming from exh,at idle and past, the carb was stripped and all jets cleaned and blown out .
any suggestions .........the choke is fully open there is quite a bit of slide wear but I would think this would make the mix leaner
forgot to mention 1962 super rocket single carb alloy head
