G'day lads
« on: 22.04. 2013 11:42 »
Hi All,

Thought it best a pop in and say hello.

Bit about myself, I'm from Australia, working in IT and chasing knowledge and parts for my 1947 A7.

This site has a wealth of information that is going to take a while to take in!

Please note due to being an Aussie I am more than likely going to take the p*** at some point so sorry if i offend you in advance  >:D

*edit* found a pic so here she is

Cheers
Brendan

G'day Mate, welcome to the forum.
Bit of a rarity that one. A few longstrokers here in Oz. I'm sure you will find all the answers here.

Hi,
That's a smart looking bike; the styling makes it looks quite modern. Modernising a classic vehicle is not my cup of tea but I'm amazed how good some old bikes can look if done tastefuly.

Having a closer look. Is that an A10 motor in there? What are the frame & engine #'s?

I just checked the numbers Frame:   YA7-467 Motor:   AA7-1866, and it appears to be a 1948 frame with a 1951 A7 500 motor, This means it would be a short stroke motor i believe?

Thank you for the welcomes so far

That's sort of good in a way. At least motor parts are a easier to get with a lot in common to the A10 and swing arm models. The AA7 is a sweet motor, I love mine.
