Update the browser's stored link to the forum
« on: 08.02. 2013 13:40 »
I don't know how long the redirect from the old domain will be kept in effect, so it's recommended to update the forum link stored on your pc (to http://www.a7a10.net/forum/ ) to be sure to get to the forum in the future.
But it should not be a problem to find the way here in any circumstance, as Google, Yahoo & Bing have already updated their links, searching for f.ex. bsa a10 forum lists it on top.

already done and for anyone not used to browsers a little tip in Firefox (explorer should have similar)

in Firefox if you get the forum on a tab and select  - " Show unread posts since last visit." - bookmark into a Folder called "start" with any other sites on tabs that you want to be there when Firefox uh starts.
next select - Tools - options - general - select the box "When Firefox starts " select "show my home page" then select "Use Bookmark" bookmarks will pop up select the folder "start" then "OK" in the pop up then "OK" in the tools options general box and thats it.
Sounds complicated but not really and the forum will open up with all unread posts since your last visit
All the best - Bill

Old domain redirect has been killed off, immediately saw a drop in 'users online'. Was somehow expected, let's hope at least all the members have read the info about updating their browser links, and that guests will find their way using Google, Yahoo etc (for example searching for 'a7 a10 forum' gives immediate results). And hopefully many of the spam botnets will not find their way for a while.
