I have a A10 Golden Flash, that I rebuilt in 2005 and since then have made several changes to it. now its a 1957 plunger but I have a modified s/a head which is quite different and to get the carb in, so that its not fouled by the frame I had to cut the inlet manifold down, with this being done I managed to fit a concentric carb and using what I think are the correct jet sizes, the bike runs quite nicely acceleration is good etc but when it comes to ticking over, I can get it to a nice steady slow tickover for about 30 seconds and then it just has one spit out of the carb and the engine stops, restart without touching the throttle and it ticks over just the same then cuts out exactly the same.
Any ideas you brainy lot?
