Hello, that news page is independent from the forum, and will be online if the forum itself is paused for whatever reason (although hosted on same domain, so yes, if the whole webhosting company goes down, then the news page is gone too, but that's another story, and much more unlikely (I suppose) than some forum maintenance\offline\upgrade). But will probably some day make a twitter account as well.
