Very interesting 1959 Super Rocket ad.  My 650 came from Scotland with an old Navy buddy of mine.  He told me it was a Super Rocket, but here in the states no one would accept an A-10 with the nacelle headlight as a Super Rocket, "HAS to be a Golden Flash."   Were the export only Super Rockets fitted with the regular headlight (SS700?) and the non-exports fitted with the nacelle headlight?  I can't verify by serial number as the number on my bike is a "re-issue" that in no way reflects the normal BSA numbering system.  The engine is a DA10R, but it looks like somebody added the "R" after the fact.  It does have an earlier "twin carb" aluminum head, but I don't remember what cam it had when I rebuilt it. It has always had this mystery about it, so that's why I call it the "Golden Rocket!"

Amazing to see that in '61 a Super Rocket was only £18 13s 11d more than an A7.
