Belt Drive Clutch
« on: 15.10. 2008 18:26 »
Just bought myself one of these, to fit the Road Rocket...

And here is one fitted to a Goldstar (not mine)

Right I suppose you want some info?

It is a Bob Newby clutch, from  http://www.bobnewbyracing.com/

and I hope this will be the first and last time you get to see it, as it will be sealed away tomorrow (such a shame) in its oil free enviroment.

Hi Kev - dare you tell us the price?
I retired at the weekend so until I find my feet and how the pension is going to pan out my project is going to be chain and clutch. ( I have three pension policies under review but the way the stock market is going I don't know how much they are worth ).
If things pan out OK I might treat myself to a belt drive in the future and the one above looks the business.

All the best - Bill
All the best - Bill
1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

Well that's me done with all the work on my old nail, and it is once again back out on the road...

New clutch is great, fantastic in traffic, and no more oil leaks.

Roll on summer.
