Hi all, I am a new member who is "trying" to renovate a 1959 BSA Gold Flash. Used to own an Ariel Red Hunter many moons ago and wrote it off!! Bought a Norton 40M Manx at the age of 17 and sold it to get engaged to my wife over 50 years ago....wish I still had it... but still have my beautiful wife. Later bought an abused Suzuki GT 175. Sold that and had a break for quite a few years and about ten years ago bought a box full of rusty bits which was reported to be a C15 and turned out to be a Trials Pastoral. Took about seven years to bring it back to original condition and found out it was delivered to Taylors here in Adelaide in December 64 and still has matching numbers. Then I bought from a Police Stolen and Recovered Goods Auction a Suzuki Katana 750cc Pop-up headlight. Took three years to get her on the road and turned out to be a lovely bike but at my age too sporty riding position so it had to go. Now I have, as mentioned above, the Gold Flash. Cheers all and ride safe. Gerry
