History request part II
« on: 15.10. 2012 21:39 »
Hi,

Some time ago I posted a history request, in the hope someone had some information on my bike.
In the mean time I have acquired some additional information;

On the V5 that came with the bike it says it was last registered in Badsworth (Leeds region)
License plate number was UXG 944, first registered 3/2004, date of sale/transfer 11/2009.
I found out I am the 6th owner since 2004!!!?

With the bike there was also a dating certificate from the BSA owners club, stating that the bike was dispatched on the 13th of february to Jack Frodsham, BSA main agent, located in Warrington.

On the engine casing next to the cylinder I found a stamping that looks like an M turned anticlockwise on its side, followed by an F. Could this be a stamping from an engine restorer?
Also on the primary drive chain case I found a scratch marking which looks like D/Y
