1950 BSA A10 plunger build.
« on: 19.07. 2012 22:21 »
Hi there I am fairly new to the forum. I do appreciate the information and the knowledge many of you have and share on this forum. So attached here are a couple of pictures of the progress so far. Waiting for a cam from British Austria. Had the frame powder coated, new rims, new spokes. All the goodies polished and gas tank is in the process of getting chromed. Will post more as the bike sees any progress!

.

Cheers,

Very interested in your pictures. My 1955 plunger A10 is not far behind you. I see that you have a front number plate with 'BSA 650' on it, (like the BSA advert). I was considering doing this. Has the bike been used on the road like this? I asked the UK licencing authority about this and they said it was ok to put any text on the side of my bike front mudguard as long as it didn't look like a real registration plate. I don't really believe that police would take any action anyway so it hardly matters.

Hello, & welcome to the forum, your bike looks to be in the same stage as mine. Am hoping you'll work faster than I can manage! Good luck, and am hoping the forum will be useful.

Hey Neil, I do not think the Canadian Licensing office would have a problem as such. We use a license plate that attaches to the back of the bike.  Just waiting on the cam and other bits and pieces to arrive for the goldie. Shes turning out great, any one have any idea where I can find some header pipes for the bike?
