BSAOC member departing

BSAOC member Mike Blake is being burried at Shaw church near Melksham Wilts at 11.30 tomorrow friday 27th.
amongst Mikes Ariel collection,, Huntmaster, VH,KH square 4 he also regularly ran his road rocket and favourite B40 BSA's.
VMCC, AOMCC and BSAOC and anyone with a bike can join the run from Corsham to Shaw in his memory parking in the school carpark for bikes with wake in the yard at Church Farm after.

I didn't know Mike but if he road a road rocket he must have been a good one.  My condolences to his family and friends.  Rest in Peace my friend.  Jeff

great day was had by all, Mike was delivered in a wicker coffin in the back of a Land Rover defender, he was escorted by 30+ bikes from 1930 BSA Y13 to Yamaha drag star, good turn out at church and back to the yard after.  even the sun stayed out. RIP Mike

Made me visualize the scene, seems like a memorable way to leave this life (and who knows, maybe go on to the next...)!
