Tim,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting the pictures of three great looking bikes. Are you lucky enough to own all of those? Of course, there is a bias here for the A10, but everyone is sure to appreciate the others.

Fine looking A10 Tim! Welcome to our forum... Are you in the motorcycle repair trade? Looking at the Metro Motor service centre in the back ground of one of the photos? Always good to have engineers here. We look forward to your participation here.  *smile*

No , thats the Holden workshop across the road, but I am a fitter and turner by trade and im always working on friends bikes of all shapes and sizes. Im currently rebuilding my friends Norton motor and welding up a cracked oil tank from a 650 triumph for a friend , and im just finishing fitting a twin disk front end taken from a 2007 roadking onto my mates  86 fxr. Ive got a lot of BSA technical documents, brochures ebooks and manuals pdf's on hard-disk, but  i think most of them have been posted here at some time or another.
I saw a site once ages ago, about making an electronic ignition for a BSA from  car parts, anybody have a link to that site?

Welcome to the forum, Tim. Sounds like you are in the land of Aus then? The Admin asked us to modify our profile info so our location appears in every post but most of this lot can't be bothered  ;)

Hi Tim, I've just logged on to bikes and pictures and was going to put up a picture of my A10. I am relatively new to this discussion forum but have had the benefit of lots of help from the guys. I almost decided not to having seen yours, it looks fantastic. But what the hec i'll put it up anyway cus there is quite a story behind mine and its now road legal and part way to a restoration along the lines of yours.
