Gday Aaron welcome to the forum and the longstroke club. I'm in Nth QLD Australia and I have two 1947 A7s and 2 1948s.
I would have your A7 as well but I didn't have the money at the time I saw it when it first became available.
The 1947s are hard to find so please cherish it. There are things on that bike that are very rare and are not reproduced.
I'm glad you are joining the forum and enjoying your BSA you will find all the help you need here.
If you need any advice off forum you can email me.
cheers Terry

Gawd! That's a great bike. Love lookin' at it. Thanks for posting the pic and joining the forum.  Austrailia, as a former colony, is a mighty power in the forum with so many A7's and A10's. C'mon, Canada and India, get movin'.  Anji, are the bikes just not there?

Hiya Aaron, When I read that te other day I thought it said 'to restore'- no way, surely ya can't get much better than that ???

I'd be interested in more detail on the tank next time it's off if that's ok to see if it's the same as the one I have??
  Cheers duTch

Very nice find there!! Does this one have the odd center stand & oil feed only to intake rockers - not exhaust??
