Hello John, just measured the Draganfly hub/sleeve and it is a couple of thou under 1.375 and wobbles only a little when it is fitted over the hub/sleeve, using a vernier I measured the inside diameter of the bearing at 1.375 so I guess this hub/sleeve is better that the one you were supplied with.

This reminded me, I did send back to Draganfly a rear clutch pressure plate ("MCA brand"), the one that fits behind the chainwheel as that was far too loose on the hub/sleeve splines and again given the reputation of these clutches I wanted the parts to be as good as possible, I was lucky enough to be given a replacement OEM rear plate by a member of the BSA club here, who had upgraded to 4 spring, otherwise I suspect I would still be looking for a decent pattern one.

In regards Draganfly when I have returned parts they have not questioned why they just refund and pay a bit towards the extra freight costs when it is a fault with the part or price. I've been told this is the norm but it's not the best way to carry on and I hope over time the quality control improves, before I started using DF and a few of the other UK suppliers I got pretty poor treatment from the local NZ supplier  *angry*

Hi Kiwi,
I have had good and bad service from DF, as you say no problems with sending stuff back
I just wish they would take the comments of the customers on board re crap parts etc
The attitude I got was "there it is, thats what we sell, like or lump it"
Some of the staff are very helpful poking out odd or old stuff that may not be on their website list
others cant be arsed *ex*
Problem is with Ariels your hands are tied in for a lot of parts  *sad2*
For BSA A10 engines or SS parts  I go to SRM, Lightning spares, or Motalia
Autocycle engineering for Mudguards, chainguards fork legs etc and Goldie stuff
I rebullt a C15 engine recently and C&D had everything I needed quick service and helpful

Thanks John some good tips on suppliers there. Do SRM supply more than what's on their site?

Short answer Yes *smile*
Its always worth asking them what they have, I got a load of stuff from them recently for a T120 engine
it wasnt all on their website
