hello all, i have recently got  ownership of a 53 gold flash plunger in a very bad state , lots of bits missing, very rusty, the tank needs chrome wheels etc , I wont be riding it this year. I am sure I will gain lots of info from you good people

    Welcome,I recently joined this bunch!! ,best thing iv,e done for years,i have no doubt that you will soon have that plunger on the road with all te help you will get from this hearty MOB, i also have a plunger 1954 model and i luv it

thanks  everybody, i think this bike was gold when it was new , its going to be gold now anyway, im thinking of stripping the tank and having it all gold, as it is white and chrome (chrome is no good ) as it is, thats a long way off just now theres loads of mechanical work to do , i havent had a close look at it yet iknow the rear wheel sproket has 49 teeth for sidecar work  ,i think i will have to have a 42t one,I dont know wether bsa did a all gold tank.
