Hi Bob... What you need is a handy little program called 'Image Resizer' This small program makes your pictures much smaller from say 2 megabyte to something like a quarter of that (under 600 kilobytes) It does not alter the quality of the picture, just makes it smaller.

Here is the link to get that program, quite safe as its on the Microsoft website!  *smile* http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/downloads/windows-xp?T1=PT

Once you have done that, you then click on the picture you want making smaller (right button on mouse) and select the 'Resize Picture' command. You'll then be able to easily find your way around from there!

Good Luck! we look forward to seeing some snaps!  *smile*

 G'day Bob, LJ,
just tried that program but it won't work on vista or 7.
I use my email program to resize. Right click on image, send to, mail recipicant. It asks if to make image smaller and by how much (medium). It opens up the sending mail with the image as attachment. I save the attachments to the same folder as the original and close the mail. Then post the smaller one on here.
Clear as mud.
Cheers

One can use the program that came with the camera, or use one of the many free editing programs.
I use http://photofiltre.free.fr/ for any quick fix like resize\crop\sharpness\color and more. Popular program with millions of users.
