One thing the frame does have is an ASC2 gearbox. Any idea of what that is?

Here's the BSA Service Sheet on gearbox ratios. The ASC box seems to be a pretty rare thing, good score!

I'm probably wrong but I think the 2 means it has needle roller mainshaft bearings.

Hi all,
T2 means neele rollers on main and layshaft
T is neele rollers on one shaft (layshaft only I think ????)
