I do have a set of the very same, only done about a hundred miles, but I'm in the UK so postage would be a killer.

Actually they are Australian made, bought from Lyford classics.

Read last night that Wassel have bought Hepolite = lookout for Chinese Hepolite pistons ???, perhaps I'm being a little harsh, we probably all have a bit of Wassel installed somewhere on our bikes

1961 Flash - stock, reliable, steady, fantastic for shopping
1959 Rocket Gold Flash - blinged and tarted up  would have seizure if taken to  Tesco

These are the pistons in question. They are of eastern manufacture, not sure where, but packaged in Hepolite packaging by Wassel.

They may well be good pistons but a bit deceptive with the Hepolite packaging.

Lowbrowbsa, how much are you willing to pay? I've just fitted some Wiseco forged pistons. About $450 delivered to Aus. Not cheap but guaranteed to do the job unlike a lot of the stuff thats around.

Hi
Brian's Quote!
"They may well be good pistons but a bit deceptive with the Hepolite packaging."

I think its Marketing Deception at its Worst  *eek*, akin to putting Ford parts into Rolls Royce packaging
They probably watch how much NOS Hepolite stuff makes and want to cash in on it  *sad2*

Sometime last year I fitted a set of these pistons (Wassel supplied no markings on pistons or box)
There was about 3/4 of a thou difference between the pair and the ring gaps were way outside tolerance
SRM supplied replacement branded rings FOC, but it added to the delays in building the engine
Bike is running fine on them!!
