wilko was thinking monobloc.
I just had a thunk. When you did the timing, did you take off the inner cover? If so the idler pinion might have come with it and the cam timing will be out.

Did not take inner cover off i hve the aut advance mag good thought though im sure its down to the new carb fingers crossed

Well I kicked and kicked could not even get her to fire moved needle form 1 to 3 with no difference even tried hand over carb no difference I am totally stumped for now..She is for sure a stubborn old pig,,I do have a great spark??

Timing must be 180 out. First try her with some "Start Ya Bastard" http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Aerosols/Start_Ya_Bastard_Instant_Engine_Starter/#.VGL2K2e0SbU  or similar.
That will eliminate timing.
It is a new 276? There must be a blockage somewhere.

Good news I got the old girl to start!!!!!!!!I reset mag cleaned the plugs and she fired right up in 20 degree weather..Not running perfect but much better no gas coming out of carb I have needle in 3rd position will try to get her cleaned up for a ride this weekend to do the fine tuning thank you all so much for your input..
Im a happy Guy!!!!!!
