Saddle cover

Does anyone know where you can get good quality saddle covers ?

There are lots on evil bay etc but they are all the usual poor quality junk, made out of some sort of thick stuff that doesnt fit the seat properly.

The name of a business or a private person that makes them would be good. I want a new one for my M20, the one on it is one I had made 30 years ago and it needs replacing.

Brian,
A bloke by the name of John Whellum in Adelaide used to do a bit with saddles, if he is still around.
Deal with him at your peril!
Although he couldn't do much evil with a saddle cover.
Have you tried Leightons in UK?

I know John Whellum well Trev, and if I never lay eyes on him again it will be too soon ! Strange man.

Leightons only do the later seats, not saddles unfortunately.

There must be someone out there that makes decent ones.

Gday Brian, I have had local upholsterers redo single seats for me over the years I was really happy with the result they copied it well.  Can you give your old M20 one to one of them to copy? Just a thought.

G'day Brian,
There is a guy over your way, Wayne Matten, "LG Matten Saddlery"
08 82723023, works allot with leather, but I'm sure could use what
ever you need, "See how you Go".

ps. he does bike seats...not just a horse saddlery!

RK Leightons do do saddles they just did mine and a very good job indeed even put the Lycette badge on it
but you do need to send the old one as a pattern
