Hello forum readers, just for the info (or fun) i placed mine amal under 90 degree , made some new intakes for it.I drive for 10 years like this.it performes well and keeps the fuel cool (avoids pinking due to heat with high compression) Okay its not quite original and looks like harley and sorry guys it an a 65 lightning, the a 10 GF plunger is under construction What do you think off it? gr holland.

Well, I like the fact that the engine is obviously well-used, not too shiny and doesn't *** much oil out anywhere obvious. Whether there is any advantage in asking the mixture to give hand signals on the way in, I don't know. But it's fun and it's different and if it has solved a pinking problem with hc pistons, then that's good too! Just have to keep your legs off the air intakes I guess.

Seen a few A65 engined customs recently with a 90 degree carb and from the description of the bike I got the impression that you could buy the manifold at one time (these were all single carb heads)....a "common" period mod apparently.

Kinda knocks the "carb bias" theory when used on a single carb twin - unless the length of the inlet tract negates any bias problems,

hello guys, the lenght of the inlet didn't affect the reaction of the engine, i've had no problems of adjusting and balancing the carbs ,org amal were 932 , i used 930 ,they react better than the bigger ones.Oh yes, groily ,i've got to spread my legs a bit for the filters ,but i had to anyway (big balls) haha..
