Hi everyone,

Things don't go your way sometimes do they. Due to family needs I find myself needing to sell the A7 I was hoping to restore.

The engine and frame are both YA7 units. The frame is in very good condition with no signs of being tampered with. The engine to the most part is also in very good condition with new pistons, camshaft, cam followers , main bearings etc.

Engine and gearbox are complete less mag/dynamo and clutch.

Frame comes with forks and yokes, oil tank, footrests, brake lever, center stand. I also have both front and rear mudguards complete with stays though both mudguards are quite rotten. The stay however are very good.

I have both front and rear wheel and the Q/R front brake. I do not however have the rear brake drum.

There is a brand new old stock petrol tank along with another box of assorted long stroke A7 engine parts.

Parts that I can see are missing. Air box, tool box, chain guard and rear brake drum.

After talking to a couple of very helpful people on the forum I decided this was the best place to sell it and I hope find it a good home.

I'm not sure of it worth so am willing to take advice.

The bike is located just inside Cornwall, England.

I'm an honest guy and don't really want to sell but family has to come first.

If anyone is interested please PM.

Many thanks Stephen

Hi Stephen, Im interested  but Im in Australia I hope you find a good home for it over there in the UK. Somebody that appreciates what it is. I'm sure somebody on this site will want it or know of some one that will. All the best with your family commitments.

Hi Steven from Malaysia these cams are very hard to find in usable condition they are usually badly worn and they are different to the later A7 and A10 cams.
I have a cam for A7 longstroke spare but it needs to be rebuilt and ground to original profile as its badly pitted. It costs alot to do this I think Draganfly Motorcycles in the UK charge 105 pounds from memory to exchange longstroke cams. But nobody has new cams for them that I know of anyway. Do you have a worn cam? you can exchange it.

Sorry I only have one new cam that will be sold with the bike. All the other cams I have are quite worn.
