No Jim but I did buy some "Dry Tank" from Halfords - I think it was around a fiver, bought it to cure my lawnmower as it had swallowed an eggcup full of water some time back and has hicked ever since.
Did'nt cure the hickups so I assumed it was a remove the carb job, however it doesn't seem to have much of a carb, looks like the jet just sticks down into the tank and up into the inlet tract.
I took the plug out, it was caked in soot - where have I seen that before?
Anyway while pootering around the WWW I came on this from Burlen (The Amal Company)
http://www.amalcarb.co.uk/TechnicalDetail.aspx?id=10Given a balanced read it seems there's as many pros as cons, fuel lines will need replaced this is no bad thing as I'm pretty sure they would be better replaced on a regular basis, how many of us do that?
