Great looking bike there Ron,

I have a 59 myself, just waiting on top end parts to arrive so that I can put the motor back together.  Where's the front brake from?
Nice looking constellation in the background in the second pic too  ;)

Yes, looks very nice, and it appears shorter stopping distances should be no problem now.

Hi everyone.  Thanks for the comments.  Glad you all like the front brake, it works really well.  Front brake plate was already on the bike when I bought it a couple of years ago - but it was running on a standard BSA hub.  so, when I decided to restore it this year I managed to source a Triumph T120 front hub from someone who had been to America.  Apparently, the hub had been sitting in the desert for the last 20 years but it looked brand new due to the dry desert weather.  As you can imagine it did have quite a bit of sand on it!  Had it powder coated, laced to a rim, had the hub skimmed and now you can just pull the brake on with one or two fingers.
